Detelina Mitkova completed her secondary music education in 2022 at "Panayot Pipkov" National School of Arts in Pleven, studying piano under Olga Ivanova. She is currently pursuing a degree in Musicology at the "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" National Academy of Music in Sofia, under Prof. Dr. Nikolay Gradev.
She interned as a Harmony teacher at "Lyubomir Pipkov" National Music School (2022), has worked at several piano schools (2023), and is currently teaching "Music History and Folklore" at Akathamus Private High School of Performing Arts (2024).
"Having been involved in music since the age of six, I can confidently say that music nurtures and shapes a person. My constant guide has been Mrs. Olga Ivanova. I have always strived for personal success, and I am proud to say that I have achieved it.
Entering the Theoretical Faculty opened many new doors for me. Studying music in such depth enriches not only my knowledge but also my playing. The understanding of theory and practice is complex and inseparable."
